Outdoor Festivals "Panning for Gold and Gemstones ( Fools Gold )

This is fun educational activity that attracts children and adults . There is no time limit for customers at festivals. They pick and keep the Gemstones and Fools Gold that they like best. Gemstones are semiprecious polished stones from Brazil, Africa, India, and Arkansas. Cost $4.00-$8.00 dependent on size of gem pouch chosen to fill.

"Panning for Gold" in 1000 lbs. of clean, dry sand. They fill velvet-type gem bags with gemstones from around the world. The students keep the gemstones they purchased or were sponsored for. This becomes a treasure hunt with real treasures for each student to find. The sand is clean and dry, and requires very little cleanup (if any).
