AMMFIRE
Quantity: 1 piece
Average size range: 1 to 2 inches
Ammolite is one of very few organic gemstones like amber and pearl, meaning that instead of forming from inorganic minerals or crystals it instead forms from plants or animals. Ammolite is created when ammonite fossils are buried in layers of sediment that prevent them from turning into calcite. The natural aragonite in these fossils instead forms a nacre-like sheen. Ammolites tend to be very delicate, so they are usually coated in an epoxy to preserve them.
