Geodes have a hollow crystal center. They make wonderful geode gifts. Moroccan geodes produce THE BEST looking geode when cracked open.
Opening them is easy. They are more hollow than other geodes and therefor break open easier. They also tend to produce more crystals.
You can simply place the geode into an old sock and crack it onto cement, or you can place it in the old sock and break it with a hammer on cement.

Ugly on the outside - but guaranteed to have beautiful crystals on the inside!
