Brazilian Agate Geode Halves with Polished Face 1-KILO
Each geode measures at 1.5"-4.0" average.
Approximately 5-8 geode halves per kilo.
The picture taken represents 1 kilo of geodes, however all lots may vary.
The term "geode" originated from a Greek word meaning "shape of the earth", likely because geodes have a round, earth-like formation or appear oblong/egg shaped. Geodes can be found around the world but are most commonly found in deserts and volcanic regions. Crystal production in the interior of the geode depends on moisture, pressure and various chemical and mineral deposits.
