Copper Merkaba Star 1" avg. Qty-1 (STAR-CO)

Native copper is an element and a mineral. The high temperatures of volcanic magma create hydrothermal veins and it is here that copper deposits are often found. Copper can form in igneous and sedimentary rocks. It is a soft, malleable, and ductile metal with extremely high thermal and electrical conductivity. A freshly exposed surface of pure copper has a pinkish-orange color- this color is unique among all the elements. Most copper mined today is used for conducting electricity- mostly as wiring. Because copper is such an excellent conductor of heat it is used in cooking utensils, heat exchangers, etc. Large amounts are also used to make alloys such as brass (copper + zinc) and bronze (copper + tin + zinc).

According to metaphysical beliefs, copper activates and opens the base and sacral chakras, advancing and stabilizing the energies of vitality, intuition, desire, and sexuality. Many believe that copper helps to direct these energies toward the pursuit of one’s destiny. It is believed to be a conductor of the individual spiritualist’s belief system- conducting spiritual energy back and forth between individuals, crystals, auras, the mind and the spirit world.
