Quartz is one of the most common minerals found in the Earth's crust, and takes on a variety of colors depending on the other minerals and trace elements that are included as it forms and grows. These pieces are formed primarily of rock crystal and white quartz, the latter taking its color from very small inclusions of fluid or gas while it formed.
The clusters were clear. Unfortunately some of the points were chipped or broken off completely. There were no pieces rattling around in the box so they were sold in that condition, not from shipping. I expected them to be in better condition. Overall they were just ok. Have gotten nicer from CRG before.
