Agate is a banded variety of chalcedony that forms inside pockets of metamorphic and volcanic rock, with the initial layer that forms and the surrounding minerals and conditions affecting subsequent layers and giving agate its wide variation in appearance. Crazy lace agate, also known as Mexican agate, contains iron and aluminum impurities that give it swirls of brown, grey, red, or gold.

I purchased two sets of these, and I'm glad I did. They are simply stunning examples of crazy lace agate! The colors (reds, yellows, pinks, white, and even purple!) are amazing! The patterns are intricate and very unique. Many have druzy as well. I have already sold one! I may have to order more (I want a couple for myself too)!
